R.Dymond possessed a copy of A concordance axiomaticall by William Knight (London : for John Bill , 1610), purchased by Robert Bennett of "Mr Mungwill, stationer" for 16/6d on 9/8/1647. In 1632 it had belonged to one Sam Alford and in 1629 to Barnabas Goche. Under his will dated 26 Oct 1658 he provided £5 per annum to find Bibles for poor scholars of St John's Hospital; a codicil dated 20 May 1661 stated that these were to be purchased at the shop of Abisha Brocas.Sources: Dredge; Exeter freemen.
