"The house consists of a good front shop with a large bow-sashed window, a wash-house, and wood-house on the ground floor ; a pleasant sitting-room, three good bed-chambers, and a closet, upstairs ; a walled court and garden behind the house. A good set of binders' tools of every sort, a few calf and sheep skins, some paste-boards, and writing paper of different sorts ; with a good assortment of pen-knives, pocket-knives, and pocket-books ; with a few other articles to be disposed of at prime cost. J.Orchard returns his most grateful acknowledgements to his friends and the public in general for the many favors conferred on him for more than twenty years he has been engaged in the above business." Continued as South Devon Weekly Express 18/10/1907-17/9/1954 with Albert Richard Holcombe as proprietor.
