The earlier Working Papers originally appeared as limited issue publications from the 1970s to the 1990s. These are now out of print except for The London book trades 1775-1800. In a revised form they were subsequently included on the website of Devon Library Services. The web addresses changed in 2005 following the introduction of a new content management system and this listing provides links to the new web addresses of pages on this book history web log, which is intended to update and extend the information gathered. The information is issued in digital format on the understanding that, while individuals may take copies, print-outs and extracts for private study, the publication or reproduction by any means of anything more than a reasonable amount is covered by the copyright legislation in the same way as printed material. Libraries and similar institutions may supply to users copies of a reasonable proportion for private study and research under the fair dealing clause of the copyright legislation. Contact the editor of the series at ianmaxted@hotmail.co.uk for comments and corrections.
The pages are listed in five sections:
1. Those with national coverage
2. London pages
3. Devon pages
4. Other provincial and foreign pages
